Drills will focus on throwing, catching, and successfully moving through space to avoid defenders or tag offensive players. Most often, our coaches will serve as the quarterbacks during games. One of their goals will be to ensure that each player has an opportunity to catch and/or run with the football. Participants will be placed into small teams. These teams will go through stations together before participating in short games against other teams. Powder Ridge Ski and Snowboard ClubMiscellaneous RecreationSauk Rapids-Rice Community Education will be offering the Powder Ridge Ski Program this year for grades 6-12. Transportation will be provided to Powder Ridge only. Students will need to be picked up from Powder Ridge by 8 pm each night. Buses will leave the middle and high schools immediately after school (3:00 pm middle school; 3:30 pm high school). The registration deadline is November 29. No refunds after the first night of skiing, so check your schedule carefully before registering. We need 20 students to sign up by the deadline in order to get group rates. By registering for this program, you are agreeing to the school behavior contract attached to the online registration. Along with liability and transportation release forms. During registration, an insurance company, policy number and emergency contact other than a parent are required. Students using their own snowboards must have metal edges and a retaining strap. One optional bonus night is included on January 28th, but you need to provide your own transportation and supervision for that evening. In addition, each participant will also receive a one-time discount bonus voucher good for up to 4 tickets at $8 each and 4 equipment rentals at $8 each (ski or snowboard). This voucher may be used one time any evening (3:30 pm-close) through the end of the session. Any student that registers for ski or snowboard rental for the 6-time program will also get unlimited ski/snowboard rental throughout the entire snow season, not just for the 6-time program. That means no paying another rental fee when you go on your own! Fee Options: Transportation Only (season pass holders), $110 6 lift tickets and transportation, $230 6 lifts, ski/snowboard equip. and transportation, $350 *Every effort will be made to reschedule missed sessions due to weather.Fall 2026 -
